I recently developed an interest in British coins from the 1700's-on. Can someone recommend some reputable dealers that you've had good luck with? Thanks!
Try Colin Cooke (do a Google search for the website) as he is reasonably priced and ships to the USA. Lots of stuff from the middle ages right through the modern period and plenty to choose from in the 1700s. I have purchased many coins from him over the years and had only great experiences. The pound to dollar ratio is not in the dollar's favor so basically double the pound price to get the dollar price and even then it is not a bad deal at all.
Try Chris Perkins at Predecimal coins, he is based in Germany but ships all over and his prices are not bad plus he is honest http://www.predecimal.com/ If you are interested in earlier stuff let me know and I can give you details of a couple of good dealers

I'd love to speak with someone with knowlege of 14th-18th century British coins, so if you could give me a couple of names, that would be great. Thanks again!!
I'd suggest Michael Gouby in general (www.michael-coins.co.uk) and for earlier material, try this website www.vosper4coins.co.uk
Well I would sugest Clive, his web site seems to be down at the moment but here is his email, tell him Steve sent you LOL (Allways wanted to say that) Clive@HistoricCoinage.com If you are interested in Celtic coins than look up Chris Rudd he has some wonderful stuff.
