to fill the last open Slot?

What is your Suggestion an why?
Should I wait for an ungraded piece and let the Slab as be?

    Thanks:)

IMO. I would break it open . Why ? It's damaged anyways , what the heck ! If it fills the whole then fill it.

The way I see it, someone paid good money to have the coin slabbed; the specimen will generally sell for a slight premium in the slab as opposed to raw. Don't crack it out.

Bust it out. Copper collectors often prefer them raw unless they’re super high grade. Free her and fill the slot!

Since it's in a details holder, I would have no problem breaking it out to fill the album hole.

Just be aware that it may be a little more difficult to find a buyer at a reasonable price if it's raw, should you decide to upgrade. (IMO, I don't think selling it raw would be a problem, but I haven't collected early coppers in 25+ years)

Follow you're own intuition, you will in the end anyway. Good luck.

As always, take photos in the slab, crack it out and keep the slip if you do decide to remove it. That way the next buyer knows.

Nice coin. So many in details holders that i wouldn't mind breaking it myself.

Any premium for it being in a slab are outweighed by being in a completed album. At least that's my thought.

I'd crack it out, whether your money or someone else's...it's death for "details" anyway...but save the retainer/prong ring...it may fit another holder. Ex: PCGS silver dollar rings fit perfectly in the round Whitman capsules in place of the black rings or if missing/needing a ring.
