I'm really lucky to have a coin shop 15 minutes away from my house on a bike through a forest. And they have super deals too.

I get boxes of 100 2x2s for $4 and they come with those cool boxes that fit the 2x2s perfectly.
Unfortunately those boxes that originally held 100 empty 2x2s hold only 75 or so packed 2x2s. They said I can buy the boxes alone for $1.
Is that a deal? On ebay, I saw those same boxes go for like $6.

Sounds like a good deal to me. You can get them cheaper on-line but you’ll losses out paying for shipping.

So I guess I can only save online if I want to buy tons. Ok thanks. In that case I'll be heading to the store to get 1 or 2 of those.

If you have a look on the Bay you can find larger box's at reasonable rates :D

I don't think I need any larger boxes, I only have maybe about 150 coins worth putting in 2x2s. Thanks anyways. Maybe if I go mainstream or something.

If you can get the boxes for $1, it probably isn't worth the effort to search for a better deal than that.

My local store doesn’t carry much in the way of coin holders. Some of the chain bookstores sell them, so he doesn’t care to compete for a few pennies of profit. That leaves me to order on-line.

Right now I’m looking at one on-line store. 100-2x2 with box is $3.75 +$6 shipping.

I can send you some from my store. I don't how much shipping is, but I live in the suburbs of Chicago.

lol. That’s ok. Thanks for the offer thought. I’m afraid I’ll still be stuck with the shipping charges.:hail:

I’ll probably spend +$50 today. I need some air-tites and other thing as well.

That's a really good deal. I can get 2x2's for 3 cents each from my dealer, but those boxes for a $1, now that's a deal!!! He sells the boxes for $2 or $2.50 the amount escapes me at the moment.

I'd go for it at the $1 price. Not only shipping and handling prices but if you live in the same state the the seller is in you may have to pay taxes. You didn't say if the price of $1 is with or without taxes. At coin shows around here they sell cardboard boxes that have two rows for 2x2's and will hold a few hundred but the dumb things cost $5. You could buy 5 of the ones your talking about and have enough room for about 400 or more 2x2's filled.
