got at the auctions tonight a box of whitman books for 30 bucks. some have some wear but for 15 books and some extra dime pages who could refuse this. dont think ill ever get around to using all these books but whatever.
I need to go to your auctions,when can I tag along.We had one here,but they were getting loballed so bad,they went to online auctions.Its interesting because I see them at the shows buying from dealers,and half the stuff they dont even know what it is.
Great, just what I wanted to hear. Almost worth the trip there for that sort of deal. I need those Liberty Head Books. The ones at the top are the older Whitman's where the pages are not additional like the bottom four that are the Whitman Classic version. Those you can add or remove pages easily. Many people are abandoning Whitman as an Album and going with Dansco due to the facts that Harris now owns Whitman and the quality has gone down. Not sure if true but heard that Harris owns both so no big difference. I still like whitman due to the color makes Silver coins look better and a Copper coin in Dansco just gets lost due to the brownish color. Really nice find now fill them all.
