Went to get my usual few boxes of coin for the week and came home with 1 full box of Philly BU Voyageurs National Park Quarters. A little disappointed b/c i was looking forward to doing some coin roll hunting but.. is there anything positive i can make of this? I see some people are selling them in singles or rolls. I didn't see anywhere that there were any known error or varieties so nothing to look for. One thing, the coins are def new straight from the mint with some good strikes. Any suggestions? I'm in between returning them or posting a few rolls for sale even though i'm not a usual seller. I really wanted to search some Washingtons to show my Dad abt the 1982/83's but it is what it is.. Thoughts?
I would jump for joy if this happened to me. The search would be on for doubled dies, chips and cracks. The rest would go back.
I also have not seen this latest issue yet. I haven't even seen the Apostle one that came before it. We get the fuzzy end of the lollipop down here.
I went through two mint bags of the 2018P Voyageurs quarters and all I found was a die chip and slight die crack on the neck of the portrait. I get mine from the mint. Here on the west coast, we usually do not see many P minted coins.
