box of cert. morgans... 64-66 and vams..

    alright guys...
    heres a chalange.. i just got a box of morgan off an auction, i have a good idea of the value.. but i wana see what you all think of them.. sorry no pics but there all ngc anacs and pcgs..

    Well, that's tough to say. If you sell them and lose money then you got screwed. If your a collector and enjoy the series, plan on getting more and make lots of friends after joining clubs and organizations, then I'd say you made out okay :) I'll also say it is a shame that slabbed coins draw more attention (money) than unslabbed ones, alas...

    Here is a value scale. One of the best and most accurate I've found on the web. Post some pictures when you can.

    Well I come up with $2,495.00 that is using my price guide put out by numismatic news I get it each month.

    ya ill get some pics up as soon as i get the.. just won them from an estate auct. should be a week.. but like i said they are all rep. graded.. who needs a pick.. but i cant wait to get the gator eye... it sounds lik a pop vam...

    and as soon as i get that damb 21 peace ill get a foto of it up for everyone..

    Assuming they are all properly graded, they would have a greysheet bid of roughly 2230 dollars.

    Mark,
    Gator eyes are extremely common.And many exist in ms-67 condition or higher (very few 68's). It is my understanding that they do not carry a premium, but I may be wrong.

    I would say that you did pretty well at $1,700. Just examine the coins within the holders and see if you think that they are graded properly. If they are, then you are in good shape.

    got my coins.. one i posted.. some nice coins in the set.. some nice periferial toning. some could be upgraded.. some ?? i would grade lower but hey!! IM not a profesional.....LOL..... ill try and get the pics of some up in a few days
