My local dealer friend called yesterday, he had bought a roll of 1922-D cents circulated in a tube and wanted to double his money. I went in and looked and they weren't too bad. A couple of damaged and some with a little pvc hazing, but little corrosion for this early of coins. No, none were No-D, type 2, :( but there were several no/weak D of the other dies. We negotiated a lower price and I now have many fun hours ahead. Just thought it was was unusual to find such a roll coming in for cash. Here is one that I separated to treat the "green" which appears to be more PVC than verdigris, so hoping acetone aloe will do it.

Very cool and interesting item! Do you plan to keep them all, or sell them off individually? The die 1 and die 3 weak/no d can be valuable too, especially if considered a "no d" from PCGS.

I considered it a learning/research roll, and eventually, I plan to sell most. Several locals he called only wanted one or 2, and he wanted to sell all at once. So now they are asking for me to sell a couple to them, and I will after I know what I have. I will list any here on CT before ebay. It will be interesting to look for the different dies :)

I own 10 1922-D's. One is an exceptional EF with a strong strike on both sides. My others have a week reverse strike and the O in one is extemely soft. Those are worth less. Separate them by strike and see what you come with. Nice purchase.
