    Junk, nah.
Worth more than a buck? Probably not.
Over 100 years old? Sure. :)
Oh and 1909-S VDB? Absolutely not.

I ran an ad in the local paper to buy pennies, and I even want the corroded ones. people think I'm nuts! But, it's fun to find baffleing ones like this. I Do It All, In The Name Of Coins!!! I collect every thing. I have fun doing it! So, what do ya think of this coin:eek:? That coin has seen it all! To me, it's a keeper! HUH?

Don't see any evidence of a mint mark or a VDB no matter how hard I squint.:( A keeper? Well, I'll give you it has character.

The legends are all readable so if there were either a mintmark or the sculptor's initials, they should also be readily apparent. Conclusion: It's a Philly non-VDB example.
