Does anyone know of any good books/websites on how they made/make dies? I am pretty good on ancient dies, but am more wanting to learn about modern dies and how they are made, and even dies from 1792 (US mint) to present.

    Stainless,

My favorite book on dies is "Numismatic Forgery" by Charles Larson. The title is somewhat misleading as it goes through the process and history of die making up to his own personal making of dies and coins using a 10 gauge shotgun.

I am surprised some of the "big gun" people on the list haven't tried it :) Bang!
