I have added a few reference works on ancient coins to my page:

and I reduced the prices on the (already low-priced) rest. If you have a special interest in any of the following collecting areas, there is at least one reference work there for you.

Flavian emperors, Parthian AE, highest-value Greek, late Roman silver siliqua, Greek bronze, Armenian, Turkoman bronze, Arabic from Palestine, tremisses from Spain, late Roman gold, Roman portrait gold, Roman silver argenti, late Anglo-Saxon, Bulgarian empire, ships on ancient coins, facing heads on Greek coins, splendid Greek coins, the Greek region of Pamphylia-Galatia, Roman Republican silver. Roman Republican cast AE, Jewish, Festival of Isis late Roman, Crete, etc.

If you specialize at all, I think you will enjoying having the reference works. If you don't specialize, there are other general works on that page that simply have splendid coins worth reading about.

    The page

links to other pages with coins for sale.

I wish you could see the books and catalogs "live". I'll bet you would buy many of them at those prices at a garage sale or bookstore where you could see them.
