It is written in plain language which is great for beginners, yet it is detailed enough where it won't bore experienced collectors. It is also a great resource for helping you determine if a coin you found or want to purchase is really a genuine error or simply a damaged, altered, or a counterfeit coin as a special chapter is devoted to this. This large coffee-table book is 304 pages, 8.5 by 11 inches, and weighs over 3 lbs! It also contains tips for error collecting, bits of coin trivia and American history, and a little humor along the way.
