Demetri Cirillo, of Florida Currency and Coins, in Boca Raton, Florida was vacuuming out a rental van, after returning from the Lakeland, Florida Collectorama Coin and Currency Show, and spotted a large group of U. S. Treasury checks and Money Orders in a trash can at a Boca Raton gas station. Around $780,000.00 of these checks were recovered. They were all turned in to the Boca Raton Police Department, who are now investigating if the checks are real, and how they ended up in the trash can.

  3. Time to check the gas station surveillance cameras. I will bet someone gets fired or arrested, likely the later. Interesting how a coin dealer of all people found them. TC
