That's great, Bobby. You might consider going to your local coin shop and picking up some "2 x 2's". These are small cardboard holders that have a clear plastic lens. Once you place the coin inside, staple the cardboard on the three open sides. These will help to keep your coins clean and will help you organize them in folders or boxes. You can also write on the cardboard whatever you want (coin description, price you paid, current value, etc.). You can also pick up the 2 x 2's at some hobby shops. They're cheap and well worth the investment.

You can also buy clear plastic holders for your currency.

Keep collecting - that's a nice collection you have.

As a matter of fact, it is the only Japanese coin with a western style "10".

    It's a 4.5g bronze ¥10 dated Showa 35 (1960), KM#73a, mintage 225,900,000.

The basic design is the oldest continuously produced Japanese coin. KM#73 (1951-58) was identical except for its reeded edge. KM#73a was minted in the 10s of billions from 1959-1989, followed by KM#97.1, dated Heisei Gan (first) in 1989, and about 4.5-billion KM#97.2 from 1990 through the present.
