Here in Charm City we have this currency floating around called the BNote, I have never seen it in circulation anywhere and can't find too much info on this currency. All that I've heard about it from talking with people is that it is an attempt to keep money in the neighborhoods, so that people don't spend their cash at big name stores(wal-mart, wal-greens, superfresh, giant) but instead at locally owned stores who will accept the currency. It appears to be a local currency that can purchased with US Dollars and then used at any store or business that is willing to accept it and that are participating in it's distribution. That is pretty much all I know about it. Does anyone know more on this?

I have a couple of these notes in CH Unc condition. I don't understand how these companies can use alternative currency, but yet the FEDS go after norfed. Both are using the same principle.

It's more like a coupon than currency. That's why the feds are not after it.
