Blue Collar Bust Half Dollar Collection

Okay, guys and gals here is the BCBHDC with some early America copper as well. I've been asked to post some pictures of the collection and the only way I could do this was to page copy and them convert that in (jpgs). All coins are circulated and the average cost of each one comes to a reasonable $109, including the 1815/12 in VF-30 condition! The set's average grade is also VF-30, not bad I think. I know some of you are TIRED of my CBHs and I apologize, but for those interested here goes...

Thanks, it's 132 Halvers and 122 varieties, well over the requirements (100 varieties) of becoming a member of the renowned Bust Half Nut Club, but, alas no members live within a days travel (600+ miles) from me so my collection can't be verified (in hand) and have my membership application submitted... Oh well, at least I've got the basic requirements, LOL...

I don't know why anyone would get tired of great coins, whether they collect those specific ones or not. I was talking with a curator of a public collection of colonial coins and he said we don't like them (museum peeps) buying up coins that are the market. That we think they "hoard" the market, but I disagreed. The reason I disagree is because their collections are viewable by the public whereas our little private collections don't get much viewing. By you posting your beautiful collection here, you were able to share your's with us and if anyone ever has a problem with that, they're only jealous of what you have and they don't (my opinion).

Thanks to all who took a look. FWIW, the highest graded coins are an 1826 AU-50, a 1830 AU-53, and an 1810 AU-53.

The 1815 and 1812 o.106a (terminal) are my two favorite and most interesting (to me) die marriages of the series.

ben what a nice collection i like it a lot. if you come across someCBH that are ms 60 and above and choice please let me know if they dont interest you my 1830 onwards collection is nearly complete and so i will be going twards these classic coins to complete my type sets
