    Ladies and gentlemen is the official Blue book handbook of United States coins by RS yeoman 77th edition 2020 is that a good book for coins see people I'm taking your advice IMG_20210405_202704165.jpg

    Bluebook is a wholesale book price for coins. The Red Book is retail prices. To find a price I take about 40% off the retail prices. Go to any coin shop or show and you will see and understand the prices. Do your research before going and keep a small book on what you want to refer to.

    I also got a Blue book but between all these books you can spend a week on a penny is that crazy or what

    That's good. When your coworker wants to sell you some coins, just whip out your trusty blue book. Unless it's a coin that you can't live without, why pay retail, you can do that anytime. Gives you a starting point.
