BLOATED NUMBERS & LETTERS

    I found this 2000 D nickel today going through some coin rolls. I have never seen

    a coin with such bloated numbers....Anyone know about this?

    Also notice the " IN GO" in "In God We Trust" is also bloated.

    The mint always pushes their dies WAAAAY past their 'use by' date.

    post mint damage. probably ran through the dryer a few times...flatting out the pattern
