Hi I found these two half pennies today and they have the boat on the reverse but on the other side they're blank. Does anyone know if there are error coins or have been ground down?
I am almost certain these were used for the game ha'penny (pronounced heip-ni). As a child, we used to play this-it was a lot of fun Wonder if anyone else here is familiar with this game?
