Black Nickels

    I have a 2004 D an a 1989 D
    Black Nickel one I'd solid black the other is black an rainbow..
    Can anyone say why they r black an should I look out for anything special on them?

    Yeah, black is a fairly common condition for nickels unfortunately. Go to any coin show and you can always find clack shield or V nickels.
