Your token is id AL120Ka (there are 3 additional minor varieties), it should be 23mm in diameter and be made of bronze. Its value is listed at $1.00 in my 1996 ref. (where the lowest value of any transit token is $0.15). 300,000 were struck in Aug. 1961 and use began in Sep. 1961. These tokens are now obsolete.

I found a birmingham transit coin that says one school fare on one side and birmingham transit co on the other. It also has a small picture of vulcan on one side in middle of two slots and on the other it say BTC diagonally in between two slots. How do I find out how much it is worth? Its also a bronze color. It appears to be the same! What is the worth of it now? How do I find out?
