I had received confirmation of shipping of the Biox in the beginning of March, but taxes and other things pushed it out of my mind until it arrived today along with a postal worker who wanted also to know what the action of BIOX is.I explained that it was a cleaning/conservation fluid and that I did not know the formula. Now the postal service delivers a lot of strange things to my house ( like the 3 human skulls), so they seemed to think it might be OK. I wrote the seller and asked for replacement and to tell him that he might be getting a call from the postal service. The BIOX does remove printing from labels and attacks paper. Where the package was for a month, I don't know. I covered the mailing label. Jim
Hmmmm. Whenever I mail a package at the USPS they ask if the package contains anything fragile, liquid, perishable, etc. I assume if the answer to any of the above is "Yes" that they would require precautions be taken (e.g., to protect fragile items, to contain liquids, etc.). I guess I was wrong.
OMG I just remembered, I have Spocks 1895 Morgan soaking in Biox since 2007 when I first joined. Pardon me bud, I will guarantee at least a genuine holder. We should have never cracked it from PR-67 hoping for that upgrade to 68.
