Do you still go bill hunting and do you find anything you would consider good?

I do some hunting but the condition of the bills I get from my bank pretty much makes any finds worthless. That said, I do save star notes and any interesting serial numbers I find just for kicks.

This is a lost art...LOL, the best resource is actually ordering money from
The bank and requesting "New Money" most circulated finds have allot
Of condition issues which drives down value, if that is your purpose?
If just for fun be out and about at your local Walmart works well.

From your title I thought some guy William did you wrong! ;)

The extent of my hunting is through pocket change. When the newly designed $100's were released I did get a few stacks looking for good serial numbers. I guess my local bank wasn't on the good list. I was pretty much skunked. I didn't continue the search.

I look at what I receive in chance and I check with my bank on every visit.

Once a week, I go through $100 in $1 notes. I have found some interesting notes, and, on one occasion, 1/4 of the stack was made up of 1980s notes.
Also, with each bank withdrawal, I ask for any older notes they have.

I always get older notes so I have to ask for new notes but they never have any. It's rare if my bank gets new bills.
