Got this one a few days ago and just got around to photographing it.

Nice big coin from the last years of the second punic war. Minted by Hannibal's most loyal Allies the Brettians.

Unfortunately the mark is off flan but I'll try to narrow down attribution by die match.

Jay, that hefty Brettian bronze has loads of eye appeal. Very nice buy!

The two I have with the Ares head have different reverses.

I love the old tooled leather patina of both of your Brettii coins, Jay!

The dynamic portrayal of Hera Hoplosmia is also very appealing.

    Thanks for the reminder :D
