I think this coin is proof Aliens landed here in antiquity, and, in fact, one became emperor of Rome. Don't all aliens have big heads like this? Now compare: Supposedly this is Gordian III, but I wonder...... GORDIAN III AR Antoninianus OBVERSE: IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, radiate, draped & cuirassed bust right REVERSE: VICTORIA AVG, Victory advancing left with wreath & palm Struck at Rome, June 12, 238-Dec 238 AD (1st Issue, 6th officina) 4.2g, 21mm RIC I viii, 5, page 16 - Cohen 357 Note: This is another of my March Madness buys. I think I have two more. I really went nuts.
I never shy away from a nice Gordian ant, even though they're among the most common of Romans. Evidently he had a longish head, as the portrayal on your coin is by no means an exception. The crown and his long nose add to the effect. Here's one of my favorites...
The big-headed alien coin should be added to this TIF "Totally looks like" thread: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/just-for-fun-totally-looks-like-thread.238718/page-4#post-1816186
ahahaha => great thread, Big-bro ... oh, and awesome portrait!! Yah, sadly my three examples aren't nearly as amusing as your neat addition!! ... hmmm although, that 3rd example does have a bit of an extra-forehead Hey, I'm a total fan of extra-forehead, my friend!!
Sadly, I've always been the kid with the big forehead ... but thanks (my therapist will send you the bill) ... *sigh* ... Gordian III and I are "not" impressed!! (*whatev*)
Not a problem, Big-brother ... Hey, let's settle it like the lesbians would settle it!! No, not that way (although, interesting) => how 'bout a good ol' head-butting contest? dawg => you don't wanna f with this Gordian-III skull o' mine!! ... Darwin/evolution has prepared me for this fight ... However .......... *bring it *
ehhhh ... hey, let's just raise a toast "to RRs" Cheers, my friend (I love coining with you!!) "salute"
FYI-Side-note => that confronted bulls coin is also considered => one "panther head/skin" ... what do you guys think? (two confronted boars, or one panther skin?)
