    I guess it was put on a rail road track or maybe into a souvenir coin machine?

    I would say Not on the train track. The wheels and rails are flat and would erase the design on a coin, and more than likely would not still be round. I will suggust that this coin was squeezed in a high pressure hydrolic press, sandwiched between two pieces of thick leather. I think it is very cool looking. Could we get a photo of it
    next to a common coin for size perspective?;)
    I have a 1909 VDB Lincoln cent that this was done to, people called it a Texas Penny because it is BIG.:wideyed:
