    hamman88 Spare some change, sir?

What event in the next few years do you think will largely effect the coin market? Don't count holidays or silver and gold prices,

So far I only have the 2009 cent redesign.

How about the States Quarter program that may come to an end in 2008 (maybe). Will that affect the number of new coin collectors coming into the hobby?

I think the dominant factor will be the strength of world economies in the developed nations. Any major event which weakens them will remove money from coins, which is a luxury for most folks.

The 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assination and half dollar are coming up in a few years. That's a little far out to think about now, but something might be planned for it - perhaps a commemorative.
