Hi...haven't posted here in a while. I'm curious if any folks here are interested in BIEs? Anyone actively collecting? I'm working on a meager collection and doing photographic documentation as I go to help folks with attribution, using the Cohen book as reference. I look forward to any replies and discussion...Ray
It's a Lincoln cent with a die crack in the word LIBERTY between the B and E. The crack resembles an I sometimes, but sometimes just looks like a blob. They're fairly common in 50's wheat cents.
I have published my 1954-S, 1955-D, 1955-S, and 1957-D BIEs at my website. For anyone interested, look here: http://www.macrocoins.com/bies-in-high-res.html
