I got this today for $2.50. It's a 1976 Bicentennial cameo proof half dollar. It looks to be a pretty high grade. It's my first proof of any kind, so I was excited. Now I just need the Eisenhower dollar and I will have the complete bicentennial set! Anyone have one up for sale? LOL.

  4. VERY nice coin! I only have one cameo kennedy, its a 1983. I think I am going to start a kennedy half set.

Very nice coin. Kennedy Proofs, especially cameo proofs, are very attractive.

Is that the 40% silver version? It looks really nice. You can pick up the 40% 3 piece set in origional packaging for around $14-15.

A beauty! I have several that are very close but not quite that good. Probably a point or two behind.

    Nice half!

Unfortunately, mine is the copper/clad version. Still a good specimen though.
