Hello All, Can someone please recommend a good book to purchase for a beginner. I am interested in World as well as all United States currency. I find myself looking at Colonial currency most when surfing around if that matters but think it would be best to buy a book that covers all if possible.

I have read that newest edition (5th) of The Early Paper Money of America by Newman is a great book. It is a bit out of my range price wise though and the cheapest I have found it for is $139. I have looked for it used but cannot find one. Is there another I should consider or am I better off saving for the newest edition by Newman? Thank You.

I think Krause publishes a world paper money cat. Why not go on the internet an Google paper money book. Frieberg has a paper money of US that you can get used for practically nothing.
