Anyone have any particular sites, ebay stores, and etc. to buy truly "unsearched" wheats, buffalos, and etc. I live in the boonies so don't get to many auctoions, estate sales, and etc. Curious if anyone has any insight to good places online for unsearched wheats, indians, buffalos and etc.

Have recently struck out on Ebay. Lol, I even tried a 5 lb wheat bag from Amazon.com just to get 21 coins before 1930. Un-searched my foot.

    Thanks

I don't know if it's against the rules to post Ebay seller's usernames on here, so I'll p.m. that to you, but there's a guy where after 15 or so rolls, almost all of them have at least 7 or 8 pre-1930 D or S, 2 or 3 IH and almost always steel. These are for IH end rolls that go for about $11. Here are some of the feedbacks I've left:

    2 IH, 1 '43-D, fewer than 20 '40's & '50's. Lots of teens. Always a good mix.
    '16 Barber, '09 vdb, 1 steel, 5 10's, 3 20's, 12 30's. Fast ship, great seller.
    3 IH, 5 10's, 5 20's, lots of 30's D & S. Always great rolls. Will buy again.

In general, take tgaw's advice, but reading through feedback is the best way to possibly tell. Also, help the rest of us out and put what you found in your feedback if you're buying "unsearched" rolls! Just putting "As described, fast ship" isn't meaningful feedback for other buyers or the seller.

    Great point thanks man.

Oh and the 5lb bag on amazon is like $60.00. I didn't do it, rather I am asking guys that sell at farmer's type markets if they have (they all do by the tons) wheat pennies around they sell. Yeah the 1909s, 22's, 14ds (possibly) and etc. but that is probably true everywhere. Unless someone has rolled coins in the early teens and unopened them, almost every wheat has been picked for at least the key dates. However, I am finding most of these guys litterally scanned for 09 s, VDBs, 22s and 14s and then called it a day. I am getting them for 3c a penny; they all say they pay 2. Buying like 50 lbs as soon as I can connect with the guy so fingers crossed.

nice. Yes please PM me his ebay seller name Placement93. I am very interested. Thank You.

I only own 2 1909 VDB's :/ and nothing else til 1940's. A pathetic excuse for a wheat collection. Just found 2 unsearched rolls in my dads office from when he was a kid. Haven't even opened them yet. Also have a 1lb bag im going to get into tomorrow.

The only prohibition against revealing a user's ebay handle is if you post your own as a seller while you have auctions running.
