Hey everyone - just wanting to hear some thoughts on this - where would be the best place to sell lots of foreign silver coins? Here? eBay? I'm comfortable looking up the ASW of each coin and totaling that for the lot - where do you think I'd get the best prices or find consistent buyers? Thanks! ~benjamin
I think you would find buyers at either location. I personally buy bulk purchases of silver coins fairly often on Ebay. I would think either location would be preferable to a US dealer. I have heard they discount these by a fairly large margin, but you could also shop the lot around at a coin show.
As far as foreign coins goes it's really hard to tell. Mexican silver does fairly well on ebay, other countries may not do that well. What exactly do you have?, anything of high silver content should do fairly well on ebay. Some dealers don't even buy less than .720, and they gotta make money too, so my pick would be the bay. just my two cnts
