I was wondering which is the best holders for notes? I have been using the semi rigid "collectors safe" holders . I noticed they were made in China, & that worries me. They happen to be the most sturdy, from what Ive seen.. I am thinking these may be damaging in the long run. I know that Capital makes the best as far as protection and presentation.. But I dont have the funds to purchase over 500 of these, nor the room in my safes to store them. Also, I was wondering if there is an available size for extra large notes? Notes bigger than the size of large size US bills. I have made my own by cutting one of the large holders, just a bit bigger than the note itself, and inserting that into another. Works ok, but kinda distracting. ( flimsy holders, but more sturdy than the thin Mylar holders) I think? I have stored many notes in books , before I realized this was damaging them. i just dont want to do any more damage. I appreciate all your replies!! CLAW
I know you have concerns on space, but Capital Plastics makes an awsome holder for currency!!!! I got 20 or so of them, and they are very safe from handling, dropping, tearing .. pretty much anything. They are 2 1/4" pieces of plastic that get screwed together tightly to keep the note safe. There are other imitators out there, but bar none IMO capital plastics are the way to go! (i am in no way afficliated with the company that sells them! I just love 'em!)
