best find in a penny roll so far

    My best find was an uncirculated 1948-S out of a BWR.

    It looks too shiny and doesn't seem to have a cartwheel. Here is an article that has a few pictures of original and reprocessed steels. http://askaboutcoins.com/2010/10/1943-steel-cents-reprocessed-or-not/
    Your's looks like #5 to me. There are tons of threads on CT about them too. I found one a few months ago that I thought was at least MS65 because of how nice it looked. Looking at it now, and looking at other examples of MS steels, I'm 99.9% sure that it is reprocessed. Here's mine as an example:

    Sorry the scans are a little blurry. The scanner didn't like the 2x2 flip plastic.

    If anyone who is more experienced can chip in their 2 cents that'd be great. I'm still learning so take my opinions with that in mind :)
