    Got lucky on this one. Just happened to ask the guy if he had any errors. He said well and pull a flip out of his wallet. A beautiful mid stage die cap dime. I asked how much. He said i don't know. What will you give me. I said i don't like this game. Im gonna go have a smoke think about it I'll be back in a few. When i got back he said i checked them out on ebay.:bored:.

    That's not a die cap . . . it's a clad layer delaminated after strike.

    You can see the torch and usu from e pluribus unum on th top rite.

    I agree. That's not the look of a die cap. I trust ToughCOINS is correct.

    Guys how does this happen on a delamination? 20180204_204917.jpg to the right of usu the torch.to the left oak branch.

    If your coin is normal weight, I'll eat my words, but if it is underweight it should be easy for you to convince yourself that the "coin" is merely a clad layer.

    Okay, I'm I wrong. Being normal weight, the coin was struck through a die cap.
