best darn Netherlands Coin I've ever seen

    Yeah, it has that eye factor.

    I've been trying to find a half ducaton to go with it - ever since I saw your silver rider. Can't find one I've been quite happy with yet. It would be a nice design to add.

    Rick,this 10 Stuivers is from the Province of Holland.Each of the 7 Dutch provinces issued their own coins prior to 1810.

    This is just French for" halve gulden" or "10 stuivers" (which is Dutch) and means "half guilder" or "10 stivers" in English.
