Roll finds in the 1960's cents(2 1909 S VDB, 1 XF40, 1 G4; 1 1931S VF) in 1970 I bought 5, 100.00 boxes of nickels from a bank closing the recently acquired branch. 1 $2.00 roll, 40 coins, contained all 1950D, All AU or MS. Traded 20 coins for many nice Morgan dollars and Bust dimes at the time. If remember correctly a 1950D uncirculated nickel was 25.00 at the time.

How far back counts? If I can go back to 1960, it would be what we now call a 1890 prooflike Morgan dollar. Yes, they showed up in cash drawers then. People didn't want them. They wanted paper dollars. This is why I refuse to go all ga-ga over them.

8 reales Peru mint given to me by a close friend. Didn't realize its value till after he passed.

Is the Peruvian 8 also roughly U.S. silver dollar sized?

Not at all. I'm just now starting to appreciate Latin American coinage.

Ease up and don't respond to teasing with hostility. I think you have a lot to share and I wouldn't like to see you leave.

I'll try. Tough not to respond to hostility with hostility though.

You think I've been hostile? Oh pal, you have NO idea! We haven't left the vestibule of the mild sarcasm room. There's about 50 rooms still to go.

50? Dante only had 9 levels. 50 is getting carried away.

I can crank up the hostility too if need be. I'm trying to tone it down though. We are all what we are. Okay pal?

My response are hostile and others are teasing? Man, maybe "I" need to get out more. But then, I'd have to interact with those other entities. Never mind.

Ask ex-wife #1. She eventually pushed me to level 47, rhetorically speaking.

Wisdom. I'm just curious. Nobody in my family felt the need to march anywhere lately, and my pop has never been happier with where the world is. He's 94.

I feel like marching but unless people do it in large populations, I see no point. If people accept this nonsense then, they deserve what they get. Still it spills over in everything I do. Surprise, surprise.

Used to for me too. Then I had a cerebral hemorrhage and they put me on some really cool blood pressure meds. I developed a poker face that I have to work hard to turn off.
