I'm considering buying this coin, and was wondering what people thought would be worth paying. Now, I know that ACG isn't very reputable, heck, they even mislabeled this coin as being French, however, looking at the coin itself, the details look pretty good.
Also, could someone tell me the mintage of this coin?

Rexesq, that slabber obviously got confused,as French is one of the 3 official languages of Belgium.Look at the way that they've spelt 'Francs'.

The asking price is $20 USD. But with shipping it would end up around $24....

KM#24, 25g .900 silver, .7234 oz. ASW, mintage 2,400,000. Looks like the date and the grade are the only things correctly stated on the label. [IMG]

2001 19th Century 3rd Ed. Krause values it at $40 ($8 VF, $100 Unc.) Sorry, I don't have the more recent edition.

If you think the coin is an XF, it lists in the catalog as $40 (KM#24), for what those prices are worth. You might try a completed auction listing for this coin in eBay.

I just saw Roy's post...my catalog is 2004, so a bit more recent, and the price hasn't changed.
