    Just wondering,

I came across this set on a website, They sel it for €199 (about $266)
I have no clue about the value of a set like this.
What would you guys pay for it, or what is it worth

It has 5 coins with the Dutch inscription and 5 coins with the French description

I wil not buy it, as i have no intrests in Belgian money myself.
But i was wondering if this set is worth as much as they ask for it.

I do semi daily search for "proof set" on e-bay and I do not remember seeing a set like this before.

personally I would not pay even 100$ for this one, strange thing is as per Krauss catalog the proof set for 1999 had 8 coins only.

Hmmmm - in my Krause there is no Belgian Proof Set for 1999. I cannot find one on Numismaster either.

There is however a 10 piece Mint Set from Belgium for 1999. But it is not this set. So I have no idea what this set is.

Either way, face value alone of this set is like 155 Euros. So I do not think that an asking price of 199 Euros is too far out of line.

    edit -

Ahhhh - wait, my mistake. Those are denominated in francs, not Euros. Guess I'll have to change my comment to no idea what it is worth.
