Been waiting for a while for a gift from my Sister. She decided to wait for my BD. Just over a week late but worth the wait. It came in a plastic snap seal bag from a coin shop in Vancouver. I guess that is where the toning comes from. I like it and it has a good strike for a Peace from the Denver mint.
She bought two coins a 1923 and this one. She sent the 23 and it arrived 9 days early. Forgot to put the other one in the parcel and sent it two days later, I got it 8 days late. But as I always say, it's the thought that counts.
I have an MS-63 1922-P Peace dollar and while it has full mint luster, the strike isn't as strong as your coin. You have a nice coin and a nice sister!
