OK, I recently got two coins and gave them just a bit of treatment. They are off eBay. The first is a halfcrown that I got in the hopes that it was a proof like 1961 GB Halfcrown (you can give your opinion on this as I have mine). It looked a bit grungy so I did one of my "ammonia dip" and rinse jobs and am showing before and after: After: The second is a 1974 Cambodia 50,000 riels which is a gold proof version. The bay pictures were terrible & then I conserved in the same way as the halfcrown: Before: After:
