Today I'm selling a potin tetradrachm of Claudius II "Gothicus" from Alexandria, Egypt. These Alexandrian tetradrachms are a fascinating piece of history as they were struck in many ways to continue the isolationist economic policy first introduced under the Ptolemaic rulers of Egypt. You can read a bit more about their history at the "Coins of Roman Egypt" website here. Roman Provincial, Alexandria, Claudius II Gothicus, Potin tetradrachm(21mm, 10.5g, 12h), 268 AD. JBGood collection I'm asking $95 including shipping within the US, exactly what I paid for this coin from another CoinTalk member. Of course, I'm also willing to discuss trades for Roman Republic silver or bronze as well. Thanks for looking and feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns
