I have this 1972 penny with a stamped image of a basketball player. I'm guessing it was created as a souvenir or promotional item for some basketball tournament. Does anyone have any info on this? I can't find any mention of it using search engines.
i have no information on this in particular but i do know that stamping on cents was pretty popular in the 70's i found a few searching rolls. interesting finds like that keep you interested and keeps you looking for more cody
