Can't remember if there was a thread about this on the site, but here goes with a new one. What is your numismatic bargain of the the week? Here is mine to get the ball rolling.

This coin was $56.00 and the pictures of it were apparently taken with a cell-phone camera. I took a chance because only portions of the coin were shown in each picture but it looked good from what I could see.

An (1830 CBH O-116, R-2) I believe. While not a rare coin the condition isn't bad and it was needed for the BCBHDC,

I haven't bought a coin for a few weeks now. Can I post an old one :D :D
Nah....my bargain for this week was a domain name that someone let slip......POINT: Put your domain names on Auto renew unless you want to buy them back from someone like me :D

Hmmm... Not sure how this is numismatically related but "www.jabpublish.com; 2000-2005" is ours. Just haven't gotten around to changing the copyright dates on the homepage but rest assured it's covered and protected.

I tried to register a new domain last week, but some yahoo has had it registered for the past 4 years without putting anything up... that gets my goat. If you're not going to use it, let it go!

But I'm SURE you're going to put your new domain to good use, right Speedy? :)

Mine would have to be my 1888 three cent nickel in VF I got this week. $67 plus shipping for a coin with a mintage of 36,501 ( according to the redbook). If it was a cent or dime under a half million it would be closer to $1000.

Sorry it seemed that my post took it off topic. I didn't mean for that to happen. Since I of all people shouldn't be going off topic I'll reply in PM...

I don't have pictures of them yet but I Cherrypicked three 1909-P VDB Cents off of eBay for a total of $9.51 before shipping and Insurance! I won one of them, an EF-40 for $0.01 which was so heavily toned that I have been experimenting with it. The other two are at least MS-62, one is a Brown specimen with a hint of Red that I won for $5.00 and the other is a Red/Brown specimen that I won for $4.50.

It's been a good two to three week for me on eBay as I also picked up a nice 1910-P Cent which appears to be a MS-64 Red/Brown and the 1911 Matte Proof Cent that you all have already seen pictures of!

    I haven't bought a coin in months:(

However my wife just found a nice 1985 $20 note at work. Crisp XF old style note.
    Paid face value for it.
