Gotta love the barber halves... now I want to buy one for my collection. @kozak what's the price range for a good ms64? I found one for $1495 would that be a good price?
Based on our PM the other day, if you cant afford a 1/4 oz of gold, you won't be able to afford a MS64 or let alone AU Barber half.
All look to be well matched with full rims. Barbers with this look will bring more than melt. Two or three look to be problem coins from the images. It helps to see both sides of a coin.
I'm with Larry on his both sides comment. You never know what may be hidden there. If this is to be added to a stack, then it makes no difference.
You don't need to mention what we discuss in private messages. I just wanted to get a good idea on how much a barber would cost in that condition and then add it to my want list
@josh's coins, a common MS-64 Barber half will run you about $1,350 - $1,400 on a good day. As for the OP, the 1915 is particularly nice, I would put it at VF-30 and would value it somewhere between $100 and $400 depending on the mint mark.
I sure could however this makes for good discussion. A lot of people like to amuse themselves in profit man's threads so lets keep it informative.. at least this one. According to Greysheet a barber half in MS64 is valued at roughly $1300-$1500 while one in VF ranges from $25-$50 and ones in Fine roughly $15-$20
