I have 2 Barber Head Quarters. One is a 1894 s, and the other is a 1893. They both have heavy wear. Are these coins worth any thing other than melt value?
Depends on your definition of 'Heavily worn'. Without pictures, and if they are VERY heavily worn, I would say they probably are not worth over melt. However, if they could be G-8 or a little higher, they can get a small premium for them. This goes for all Barber quarters that aren't key dates.
