My Dad just passed away last week. He lived until age 84, though he had struggled with Parkinsons disease for years. When I was a kid, he and I were doing yard work at the house I grew up in and we found an 1907-o Barber Half while digging with a shovel. It's pretty beat up. I'd say it's AG to G. The date and lettering are readable obviously. I don't think there is any great numismatic value here but because we found it together, there is a great deal of sentimental value. I thought it might be nice to turn in into a necklace or something as a token of remembrance. What do you think?
get a non destructive outer ring for it.sometimes thay have a thin piece of plastic for the outsides, that will protect it,that would be awesome.and less painful than my tattoo's for memories.
