Barbarous ?

    Hi. This ancient bronze has the figure and weird shape of a barbarous coin. Could it be a so- called Barbarous which was struck by the Barbarians after the fall of the Roman Empire? Always thanks for your appreciated comments. Charles Bar O.jpg Bar R.jpg

    7C, i think that is a byzantine coin, looks like a facing coin of justinian (see the "vstin" on the obverse?). can't tell from the reserve exactly what type.

    Thanks a lot C 71. I noticed that there are also 2 crosses on the right and left side of the obverse. But of course, I was not sure at all what this cud was. Now I know..
