Another new horseman to the growing mound of FEL TEMPs. I was drawn by the attractive attempt at copying the clutching horseman type. The odd AVGV obverse legend is intriguing. The horseman has a very rockabilly hairstyle (Elvis as a horseman?).

    Constantius II - AE2

Obv:– D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVGV, Pearl diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right
Rev:- FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Helmeted soldier to left, shield on left arm, spearing falling horseman; shield on ground at right. Horseman is bearded and falls forward clutching horse's neck
    Minted in a barbarous mint

    4.58gms. 23.49mm. 0 degrees

Neat addition. I like this one a lot too. The soldiers hair looks a lot like mine right now (though he has more :/ ).

    Very cool FTR barb!
Is it just me or does the fallen horseman look like a fallen minotaur?

What a cool style! I was thrown off the the horseman as well (I see what your saying about a minotaur @TJC ). I thought I was seeing a plumed helmet!
