So do you have to be a member of a bank to get coin rolls

If you're speaking about individual rolls, it all depends on the policy of that bank. If you're speaking about large quantities such as $500 boxes, the answer would be, "No!"

I use a credit union they only have 2 branches so I use one as a pick up and another as a drop off I've had a good experience with the older tellers but the younger ones are very irritated

I'm not a member of half the banks I buy coins from. I will usually buy $500 worth of dimes or $500 in halves at some banks. I started going back to cents though. I only get $25 at a time as anymore would take way too long to search.

(Edited to fix grammer, NOS was the one who told me how to fix it)
