Banknotes of the British Commonwealth - Scotland.

Here's a section that will be of interest to those who are collecting both British & British Commonwealth banknotes. This time,it is about the banknotes of Scotland.

instead of just announcing a section and leaving it empty, why don't you announce a section and plug it full of stuff related to what you're announcing? the rhodesia section still has zero posts. you could've linked an image to a rhodesian note and told us something about it. the design, the country, something. otherwise, what's the point? i could announce a section for every single monetary authority past and present, leaving us with with thousands of empty posts. not fun.

SanMiguel, there was no articles on Scots banknotes that I could link to,especially on Wikipedia. As for linking to a Rhodesian banknote article,Wikipedia has a really dumb naming convention for their articles.

I have quite a few Scottish notes in my collection but not as many as I would like LOL, if you click on the link in my sig it will take you to them (well sort of LOL) you have to then pick the country you want from the drop down menue.
Not sure how to link the pics from there to here though. :rolling:

Here's another section that will be of interest to the British & British Commonwealth banknote collectors. This time,it is about the trading bank notes that have been issued by various issuers in Ulster since 1922.

Here's a link; www.irishpapermoney.com .It has a section on Ulster banknotes as well as Irish.

Moved this here to create one continiouse thread rather than a number of smaller Informed Aidan
